Granddog Sitting

Sue and I had a great time this weekend babysitting for our granddog, Stanley. Stanley is a little ball of energy otherwise known as a Pug. He was wide open the whole weekend but we enjoyed watching him.

Sue and I also went to the Tuachan outdoor theater to see "Big River" which is based on the adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The production was based upon the struggles of slavery in the pre-civil war era on the Mississippi river. It was awesome.

Annie & Brett stayed with us a couple of nights on their way to and from a fun excursion to Lake Powell. As always it was nice seeing them.

Here's a few pictures Annie & Brett opening some of Stanley's "dog shower" gifts too.

I was so surprised by that play. I really enjoyed it more than I expected to. Tuachan is amazing. They actually flood the stage, with rapids no less, to simulate the river for Huck & Jim on the raft. It was so cool!

Stanley is crazy! He wouldn't sit still at all until...amazingly enough...we put a little hat & bandana on him. He sat really still while we took his picture. Ray is going to put the picture on here sooner or later. I know Brinly is waiting to see it. She was Stanley's "Dog Whisperer". He was entranced when she held him...
