Simply Grateful

As most of you know who read our blog, my wife Sue is from Buffalo, New York. More precisely, Clarence New York, where the Continental Plane crashed last Thursday killing 50 people.

Sue left to visit her daughter that lives there last Thursday and arrived there less than 2 hours before that plane crashed. My sister-in-law, Lori and her husband Gary, arrived at the airport about an hour before the plane crashed. Sue's daughter, Tina, was originally going to visit as well, and she usually comes in on that Continental flight fomr newark where she lives, but decided not come a month or so ago.

The flight crashed less than 2 miles from where Sue and her family used to live and only about 4-5 miles from where she is staying with her daughter.

Each of her daughters knew people that were on the plane, lived in the house that was hit by the plane, or others that were affected by the crash.

My heart goes out to all of them as I know how tough this must be. To see so many people's lives affected, most tragically, but the human resolve is amazing. I know that there will be many miracles that will come to bear in the days and weeks ahead. While many have been hurt, many others will be uplifted.

While we many not fathom the utter terror that those poor souls were experiencing in their last moments of conciousness and life, it is my belief that they were eased into their next life/existence by the saving grace of our Father in Heaven. I truly believe that they were surrounded by angels that helped ease thier burden/suffering.

While we will never absolutely know what they were experiencing in those horrific moments, I choose to believe and have faith in God our Eternal Father, His Son, Jeus Christ, and the Great Comforter, even the Holy Ghost, and I do not believe for one mintue that They had forsaken those poor souls.

God Lives, Jesus is the Christ, they know us personally, and love us beyond our comprehension.

Such a sad event. On another note: It looks like you guys had fun at Zion. I feel like I haven't seen you guys in a while. We might be nearing another visit...
