Busy Easter Weekend

This past weekend was ultra busy. Saturday started out with a ward calendering activity at our house with all of our auxiliary leaders. We had a nice breakfast for everyone then scheduled the entire year.

After that we visited with Jimmy & Hollie then Chris and Alicia. Sue bought some cute stuff to make Easter baskets with. The kids loved them.

After that we went to the annual Easter Art Festival downtown. It was really nice. Lots of artists from all over the West. We bought a real nice Al Rounds print of the early years of the St. George Temple and an optical crystal sculpture of Jerry Anderson's "Come Unto Me" sculpture. We're putting it in the area we have set aside for our ancestor photos and memorabilia. It is really awesome and is lighted by led lights. check it out at:

We then went to the Stake center for some baptisms and then had an Eagle Court of Honor" for the first ever Eagle Scout from our ward.

Easter Sunday was really nice and spiritual. We had our Fast & Testimony meeting and it was great. When we got home, Sue cooked a Turkey dinner with all of the fixins...mmmmm good!

It was a very busy, but great weekend.
