We're baaaaack....sorry for our blogging absence. We've been away from the blogging scene since early December. We have been extremely busy with having our family visit during Christmas and then life just got in the way. By the way, we had a wonderful Christmas...one of the best ever. It was surely great to see everyone again, and for me, seeing some of the grandkids for the very first time. Anyway, we're back and will keep this updated as best we can. Nice spring weather is almost around the corner. Each day is at least in the 50's now and the heat will be here soon.
We had a very nice treat two weekends ago. Sue and I were going to get out and do one of our favorite hikes. Will was out of town and Kari called to see if we would like to do a hike...and the rest is history.
You may remember this hike from a couple of months ago. It is across I-15 form our place. You have to go under I-15 through a couple of tunnels before you get there. Once there, you are rewarded with some pretty cool rock formations that you can almost crawl around in.
We had a great time with Kari and the kids and nobody got hurt. We even brought some good walkie talkies with us for the kids to use

Beautiful day! ... not only for us but we saw bikers on the trail & horses! We found a cool rock that looks like a Teddy Bear head. Maybe Kari will take a picture of it & blog it... Kar? It was fun starting out in the low 40s something degrees with no sun... coming back down the trail in the 50s with sun & we were striping layers off...sweating. As we got back to our house Amber texted pictures of playing in the snow with Ayla in Virginia! Weird feeling...
fun!!! it must be nice to be out and about in the dead of winter!
