Ward Pancake Breakfast

We had our second annual "Breakfast with the Bishopric" pancake breakfast last Saturday. The Bishopric cooked the pancakes and the activity committee did their usually fantastic job in organizing, setting up, and cleaning. The event was very well attended by over 100 people. We were hoping to have it at the outdoor pavilion but the weather would not cooperate so we held it in the cultural hall. A good time was had by all.

It looks like the ward survived another one as Sacrament attendance the next day was fine....except for maybe one of our ward members...ruh ro :)

Here's a few fun photos of the event...enjoy!  Check the rest of the photos on Ray's Facebook page

Honey...why would I hire a professional photographer when I have you around...you're the best!

There really were a lot of people that attend these things. We love to have activities.

We're thinking about doing a Christmas "Breakfast" this year...not sure yet, but it is a distinct possibility.

The breakfasts are a blast!

Looks like fun but a lot of work for the bishopric. I would think hard about that Christmas breakfast. People really tend to like tradition if your ward has something traditional at Christmastime. Our last ward tried something like this in Amherst and it didn't go over well. Guess it probably just depends on the ward though.

The annual breakfast was a blast. It's always so fun visiting with so many amazing ward members. The pancakes were great, the company entertaining, and the kids looked like they were enjoying themselves.

The Activities Committee and the bishopric should give themselves a "pat-on-the-back". It just needs to be said,"Thanks Bishop, for all you do!"
