Father/Daughter Halloween Party

I had a wonderful opportunity to stand in for Will at Brinly's church sponsored Halloween party last week. Needless to say I jumped at the chance to do this with Brinly.

We had all sorts of fun. We had a really good spaghetti and meatball dinner, then we made candy-filled spider ornaments, played pumpkin bowling (which my the way Brinly kicked my butt in), and then danced the "Monster-Mash" with each other.

The best part of the whole night was spending time with this little Angel. It made me feel extra special as she didn't care one bit that she had to go and be seen with her grandpa instead of her dad....she wasn't the least bit embarrassed.

Thanks Will and Brinly for making Grandpa's night so special. This is one of those events that all grandparents live for.

Oh my gosh, I had to call Lucas over to look at these pics. I can't believe how old Brinly looks. I haven't seen her in over a year and I really miss her. Wow she looks so much older! Glad that she has you Grandpa!

Brinly has been talking about going to this with Grandpa for a long time. Every time she brought it up she would say "It's ok if Grandpa can't make it ... BUT..." and then she would go on about how much fun it was going to be and the plans that the girls had for this Daddy Daughter special night.
